APACHE Had a 90 hp Chrysler Crown petrol engine, amateur built, in Captain Springs Rd Te Papapa in 1939, by the original owner, circa 1949 in Islington Bay, owned by Harold Parkinson a monumental mason of Symonds St Auck City.

Update 10/04/13 – Harold Parkinson bought Orari II after selling Apache. A very nice boat and a bit unusual being such a large sedan launch. Most boats that size tended to be bridge deckers.

I took this photo 3 years ago of this very cute woody in Oneroa, Waiheke Island. It was early morning & just one of those moments worth getting out of the bunk for. The name eludes me.
Now some of the CYA NZ members that look in here may have already seen this but given there are now viewers from over 22 countries checking out waitemata woodys, I thought they may like to view a good old fashioned kiwi boat club style haul out & winter make over. No fancy cradle lifts at the Devonport Yacht Club, we still use the good old style railway haul out.
