T-SHIRTS

  1. Some background on the T’s – I only source top quality garments & use high-end (hand) screen printing for really tight detail & a durable finish. I’m passionate about WW & will only put the logo on something that is 100% quality. NOTE – SHORT SLEEVE ONLY
  2. In terms of colour – we are like Henry Ford, we only do one colour – a very dark blue (navy) with white logo. 
  3. Price – $39 (gst inclusive) + $8 p&p (one off freight charge, no matter the number you order). If that’s too much to pay for a quality T-shirt, well I guess you won’t be buying one, but I’m not prepared to compromise on standards.
  4. Sizes – Refer chart below. Not all sizes in stock.

FLAGS – 100% canvas, printed both sides with the Waitemata Woodys logo (below) using old-school screen printing method (long lasting) and pennant shaped. Price is $40 + $5 p&p.

I can not tell you much about the above launch other than she is 29’6”, her TME listing states she is a Lane, but to quote HDK – Lane = the default name for most wooden boats. The motor and box are out, but ‘complete’ (what ever that means).
At a guess her name appears to be Wai Lani, but the photos are too low res to blow up to read.
Bids are sitting at around $650 for even if you don’t want the boat, there are some good fittings to be had 🙂
Harold Kidd Input – WAI LANI was built in the winter of 1916 by Dick Lang for H T D Lloyd of 19 Ring Terrace, St Mary’s Bay.

Its a Mark-Foy start for the CYA yachts so we should be seeing another tight finish. Launches are encouraged to get there early to secure a good viewing anchorage – and less rowing when returning from the legendary party / BBQ ashore.

Waitematawoodys T-Shirts + New Release – Caps – Perfect Christmas Presents

Well woodys Summers almost here so it’s T-shirt weather. If you want a WW t-shirt nows the time to order – details below.
  1. Some background on the T’s – I only source top quality garments & use high-end screen printing for really tight detail & a durable finish. I’m passionate about WW & will only put the logo on something that is 100% quality.

  3. Price – same price for the last 3 years  – $34.95 (gst inclusive) + $5 p&p (one off freight charge, no matter the number you order). If that’s too much to pay for a quality T-shirt, well I guess you won’t be buying one, but I’m not prepared to compromise on standards. This years T’s are an even better cut / fit.
  4. Sizes – Refer chart below. If there is interest I will do a smaller female sizes.
  5. Ordering – B4 Xmas I’m doing a limited print run, so if you want a shirt/s – I need your order by Sunday 1st December, sooner would be even better. I’ll advise payment details when I confirm your order.

Yesterday’s story on the re-launching of Pacific & My Girl, caused a bit of a stir – nothing to do with the boats, it was all about the photos of people wearing waitematawoodys t-shirts, my email inbox was overflowing with – where’s mine?, where can I buy them? etc.

So folks, it’s been 2 years since I offered up the chance to grab your own WW t-shirt, last year I was just too busy with the boring things in life e.g. work & also getting my boat ready of the Christmas/ NY cruising. This year I’m ahead of the game, for once 🙂 Also the numbers of people reading WW has increased by over 500%, so there are a lot naked woodys out there 🙂

  1. Some background on the T’s – I only source top quality AS Colour garments & we print in-house using old school manual screen printing processes for really tight detail & a durable finish. I’m passionate about WW & will only put the logo on something that is 100% quality.
  2. In terms of colour – previously I printed a very dark blue (navy) T, with white logo. So it’s that again. Over the last 2 years I have printed other colours for friends & give-ways, no promises but I might do another colour – e.g. black, let me know if you had a 2nd pick & I’ll see (no promises) how things go. The logistics of the ordering > printing > dispatch is a little frightening, my lips are sealed on numbers, but the house looked like a NZ Post mail center for a few weeks.

Printing is underway – just discovered that custom screen printing is a VERY manual process, reminds me of college art classes –  but the end result is very cool & has a long life.
I’m pushing the overseas orders out first & will start on the NZ orders soon – all well b4 xmas 😉
The new shirt & updated logo is looking great.

The most asked ww question is “can I buy a ww t-shirt? ” – well now you can.

I have been playing around with logo designs & colour options & have now settled on the final logo (see below).
On previous t-shirts I used a vinyl iron-on logo, in the future I will be high-end screen printing for really tight detail & durable finish.

In terms of the T’s I wanted a T that would last a few years, fit & feel good on & not end up in the rag bag after a few washes. So quality only T’s for ww – sourced from NZ’s best supplier. I’m passionate about ww & will only put the logo on something that is 100% quality.

Colour – previously I have printed – white, brown, black & very dark blue. Of these, dark blue always gets the big tick – so its a very dark blue T with a white logo.

So how much? – $34.95 (gst inclusive) + $5 p&p (one off freight charge, no matter the number you order). If thats too much to pay for a T-shirt, well I guess you wont be buying one, but I’m not prepared to compromise on standards.

Sizes will be Medium / Large / XLarge / XXLarge /XXXLarge (fyi – I’m an XL). If there was interest I could do a smaller female size.

Ordering – B4 xmas I’m doing a limited print run, so if you want a shirt/s – I need your order by Monday 30th November, sooner would be even better. I’ll advise payment details when I confirm your order.
