Maewa > Isaly II – A Peek Down Below
Back in 2015 we uncovered some of the history around the 1956, 33’ launch Isaly II, formally named Maewa, now thanks to a trademe listing (ex Ian McDonald) we get to have a peek down below.

She is powered by a 2L, 60hp Nissan diesel that gets her along at 7knots.
Mum and dad owned her in 1978-1979 or 80.
She was only 26ft at that time o believe and dad put the BMC Commander diesel in her and took out the petrol engine at Milford.
I believe she was renamed to Southern belle or something like that a few years later.
