  1. MANAPOURI and GAY DAWN were jewels in the crown at Mahurangi. Interesting parade through the moored boats at Sullivans by the CYA launches led by the adventurous Baden Pascoe in JOHN DORY.

  2. Some of us have to keep the wheels of commerce turning, despite Millenium Cup / Bayweek etc
Can you hear the violins….Will be up there rather late tonight I suspect against this huge tide today, uphill to the fuel jetty this morning it is so high, still Diesel at 89 cents that’s a pleasant change at Westhaven for the Riviera brigade. Catch up tomorrow.

  3. Hi Alan,

We are taking Manapouri up to Mahurangi for the regatta and will be interested in the cruise to Warkworth.

We also have a friend bringing their classic up from Tauranga (Gay Dawn) and Im sure that they will be keen to join in.

That’s a bugger – who is going to bake dessert for me?

A big fat ZERO on interest in a parade, which is all cool, people just want cruise up, get a nice anchorage & watch the regatta. I can relate to that. 🙂 AH

  5. Arrived home yesterday. Great weather, great cruising. Caught up with many old – and new faces.

Mahurangi…at this point in time I doubt that we’ll make it this year. Our dear old Beth who looks after things whist we’re away is a bit low in health at the mo and it just wouldn’t be right at this stage to ask her to look after things. We may go out over night and hang around locally or head out for the day and watch the tug race etc. However, things may change and we could end up at Mahurangi. Is there any interest showing in a launch parade?
