The background in the photo shows Westhaven, probably 1940-41, after the construction of the buildings that still stand there. Right from left the Westhaven Cabaret (now RNZYS), Richmond Yacht Club, Victoria Cruising Club, Auckland Motor Yacht Club dinghy lockers and the 2 level AMYC clubrooms (now part of Ponsonby CC).
