Another  Jack Brooke drawing, published on ww thanks to son Robert making them available to ww followers. Jack produced a hand drawing on each cruise. Todays post is the 14th featured.

The above drawing records the travels of Kiariki over Easter 1962, they cruised to Kawau Island, Leigh & Waiheke Island & a few points in-between.

  1. There’s got to be a story behind Jack’s drawing of the skipper of ANTHEA II rowing his dinghy. She was a K Class designed by Jock McGruer and built by Collings & Bell in 1956-7 with steel frames. Dave Jackson worked on her. She was built for John Ellis. I wonder if Jack is having a dig at someone here and whether K Class issues were involved? Who was “Holden M”? Don and Robert Brooke will know.
