Designed & built by Arch Logan, 1895. Seen here on the slip at Devonport Yacht Club in 2011, just prior to having her 1st engine fitted – unbelievably Moana went 107 years without a motor.

Just when I was beginning to believe the words of Willie Nelson and Merl Haggard that “We’re going to hell in a hand basket, I walked though the DYC hardstand this drizzly afternoon and there was Moana in her usual place as she has in winter (albeit with a superfluous excrescence poking out on the stb quarter).
The world is as normal and all is well!
