MYSTERY DOUBLE ENDER WOODEN LAUNCH – PATINA
Todays photo was sent in by Heather Espin and comes to us ex a photo album from Bryan Walden. Walden was one of the first boat brokers in Auckland and he categorised the boats he sold.
The location to me appears to be Wellington and the boat has a the distinct look (double-ender) of a vessel that would have crossed Cook Straight with ease.
Can anyone confirm the location and put a name to the launch.

Yes it’s Wellington. Clyde Quay Marina. You can also make out the name on the cabinside – not %100 certain, but looks like Patina

I have discovered the excellent article on my fathers fishing boat Renuhau (Renahou) from the mid 1900’s by your contributor ‘harold53harold’ on November 13, 2014. M brother and I would dearly love to visit the vessel if he was able to liase with the owner.

Location is the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Basin in Wellington.
