NORSEMAN Launch Day
Todays photo is dated Feb 1965 and comes to us from Dean Wright ex the Tauranga Library collection. No mention of the location or builder.
Back in Sept 2022 Dean commented on WW that Norseman was run as a charter boat out of Tutukaka by Phil Bendle for an extend period, these days home is a mooring at Rangitane, up the Kerikeri River.
Photo below taken by Dean in Sept 2022 in the Bay of Islands.

This is after a rebuild. She was at that stage owned my Mr. K. W. Larsen and previously had a longer sedan cabin extending farther back.

If that’s O&G then Norseman must have been about the first out of their Sulphur Point shed, and that’s an awful looking lump in her side.

There was an earlier NORSEMAN built, a reverse shear yacht, a keeler, — one of the very first of this style I believe, built in about the1940s, from recall about 36-38 feet.
Looked unusual at that time, but I actually quite liked her style. — KEN R
