Chris Craft in Canada
I have been sent the above photos from Kiwi woody Alan Sexton, who is working in Canada. Alan keeps an eye open for any interesting boats & commented that it seems wooden Chris Craft are the flavour of the month in Vancouver.
The two b/w photos are from a book on the Chris Craft factory, that Alan found in the marine section in the Vancouver Central.

That brings back memories of when I arrived in Vancouver, Canada in 1972. You dont see that abundance of woodies any where else but in the pacific north west. repaired a few in my earlier days, worked for the now defunct Quayside Marine. they had a floating workshop on Coal harbor, just down from the Bayshore hotel where Howard Hughes was holed up at the time, LOL
