Rasmic has recently been reincarnated as Bobby in our household. He is a great source of info on those heady days of off-shore cruising and racing in the 30s. Straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. He hasn’t got much good to say about Georg Dibbern who turned him down as crew for one Trans Tasman despite his NGATAKI experience.

You are right Bruce – but 12hrs too late for the book 🙂 . Check out the CYA forum on Monday, there will be two copies of the book to be won there.
Ngataki looks amazing, a credit to everyone that has worked on her, you will be impressed.

Hi Alan, The cat’s name was Rasmic. Bruce. Can’t wait to see the now restored Ngataki, have admired her, and Johny, for 60 years. I was aboard her prior to the work being started.
