I thought it was time we had a ‘newish’ photo. Valsan the 1938 Ligard. Currently hauled out for repairs to her hull post a grounding.

  3. I have fond memories of the era when Arnold Baldwin (UBS Directories) owned her. It was always white ducks and flags down when the gun went off at sunset. Lots of gin before and after. Happy days in the RNZYS,when to leave the ensigns up all night would result in a letter from the Commodore no less; as one high ranking lawyer found out with a lot of mirth to us all.
