RIVERHEAD TAVERN WOODYS LUNCH CRUISE – PUT A CIRCLE IN THE DIARY FOR NOVEMBER 8TH. NO NEED TO RSVP FOR NOW – I’LL SEND A FLYER OUT AFTER THE STILLWATER EVENT

“MAIRIE” that must be when she was quite new, the handrails were replaced with solid bulwarks and yes, an electric start K4 Kelvin engine

The inner boat may be the ST CLAIR owned by Lionel Barney owner of the Guest House in Vivian Bay & if so, she was used to transport guests to & from his property in the bay & this would be in her early days, with much less superstructure than she had later in life. — KEN R

The outer 2 is the FLORAY as she was named, when that was taken, as she still belonged to the original owner/builder, MAJOR, (christian name not title) Bailey and was named after his wife Flo and son Ray. Later she had a name change to LEILANI. The inner of the outer 2 boats is the MAIRiE, built at Kawau, by Roy Lidgard, for Alan Horsefall owner of the Mansion House Hotel/Resort, at that time, and she was powered by a 4 cyl Kelvin Diesel, and was built in the later 1940s or early 1950s supplementing and ultimately replacing the NANCIBEL. — KEN R (edited by Alan H)

Brings back memories of off season cruising when the bay was practically empty. Leilani off the end of the wharf.

My best guess for the far left is Lady Karita.
