MATAHUI
Following on from yesterdays gallery of work boats from Port Chalmers, today we have a photo taken by Dean Wright of a very salty looking Matahui, berthed at Port Chalmers.
A lap of Stewart Island would not be a problem for this old girl, keen to know more about her.

Previously listed on WW a year or two back -should amalgamate the two. Fell in love with her in 1962 or 63. Originally powered by a Coventry Godiva (always thought that name was a good in joke that few people got). Built mid ’50s -the earlier listing has a picture of her being launched. Max Rolfe owned he when he was on Kawau – his house is now the Pardy’s but much improved.
