The ex-Mary M, ex-Regina, built by Lanes in December 1912 as a flushdecker which had a “bridgedeck”, tramtop and dodger put on in the latter part of her life. She went ashore and broke up in the violent storm of early February 1936 when owned by Bert Prosser.

  1. Well I never! There are more things in Heaven and Earth,Horatio etc, I have today photographed MAIBE (sic) in the marina at Nelson, a bit down at heel, but instantly recognizable from the above pic. So she WAS rebuilt. Will post image in a few days. Any feedback on what she’s done since the February 1936 storm in Auckland. I was too busy being born around that time and my father too busy explaining to my mother how WAKANUI came ashore at Waiwera in that blow.
