I said Eric Shorter because I used to see him most mornings when I walked down Shortland Street to the office I worked in, having had to park my Riley 9 right up the hill by Shorters Citroen agency. I did that until they installed parking meters and the world became a different place. It looks like Eric, and wasn’t he having Amethyst built by Percy Vos at about this time?
