Hull built by the late Alec Baxter Whangarei 1994. Taken over by Russell Ward before completion and hull works finished by John Rea and engineering completed by Russell Ward. Coal fired boiler by McKenzie & Ridley Penrose. Engine is an O B Bolton design bought in unfinished state and completed by Graeme Wilkinson (ASMEE).
