I think I saw this old girl slipping out of the Wairoa river last Sunday. I looked and then looked again I tried to get the name on her stern, but as she got further away, the less chance I had of confirming.
I think I had one letter of her name incorrect, which didn’t come up. Then, reading a recent post on WWW by shear coincidence, I noticed a post was from Aumoe.
That triggered the Correct spelling, and I matched to the correct vessel? Lynch me if I am wrong…. Where is she moored?
