A Shipbuilders design c.1960, purchased by Ivan Guthrie in 1987, his last boat. Sold to CYA member (now MV Kailua ) Graham Guthrie who re-powered her. Seen here tied up to the new (c.1990) wharf in Arran Bay, Waiheke. Rotorua Island & Ruth Passage in the background.

Sorry to above.Was about 2001 when we purchased Corinthia.Was for sale for a long time and we eventually bought her from a Pete O’bryn who as a boat broker operating under the name of boat traders.Had been on the market for $179,000 and price slowly came down untill we got a deal at $112,0000.Had her on berth F37 at Westpark.Marina.Sold her to anoher Pete and I believe she went to Bayswater after a repaint at Orams.Note the boat mentioned by Paul Newell tha was a sister ship that was twin engined.As stated before we have heaps of photo’s and videos.Cheers

  2. My wife and I owned and lived aboard Corinthia at West Par Marina early eighties.
    Have heaps of memories and photos.Powred by a 6/71 detroit and would do 14knots on a good day.An awesome boat,many family adventures.Cheers Merv and Claire Mitchell..

  3. looks to be a different boat, but to the same design. There are a few of these, 1 at Bayswater, and I saw one by Orams a month or so back, possibly Corinthia.
