  1. That would be her but she has had a very chequered career, with a number of different guises, & as far as I know, these days, resides at Te Atatu.

Is this the “Shenandoah” I vaguely remember seeing at the Princes Wharf launch steps offering day fishing trips on the Hauraki Gulf, with the skippers’ name of Abe or Alby during the 1950s-early 60s?? The two regular boats doing day fishing trips from these launch steps were La Reta and Florence Kennedy. The craft I remember resembled the Arline superstructure but the name Shenandoah is firmly fixed in my memory. (I had many chats and cups of tea aboard as I lived and worked on La Reta, Mondays La Reta stayed in port for maintenance and refuelling)
