My brother did his boatbuilding apprenticeship at W.G. Lowe and we have a brief 9.5 mm home movie clip of the launch of the pilot boat, Akarana, around 1960. I’ve had the home movies converted to disc and he’s emailed from Vancouver after spotting your page on line and asked me to see if you’d like me to do a copy of the one minute section of the launch of the boat.to forward on to the new owners?
