I owned Esperanza 11 for 12 years, purchased from Whangamata in approx 1990 I steamed to Pine Harbour Marina before slipping at a private slip in Panmure. Extensive work was carried out topsides and below over a six month period to remove rot and general disrepair, the two 100Hp fords were still going strong although tired she was fitted with Hydraulic steering, all windows replaced, complete fit out below/galley/berths/head and finally after strengthening of the upper saloon roof a Flying Bridge was installed. I sold her approx 2000 to a Canadian Lady and still miss her (The Vessel)!, she was/is a very special vessel: Call sign: Zulu Mike Zulu 2373 Esperanza 11 I had the full history after speaking to snooks not long after I purchased her. The last photo appears to be how she looked when I had finished her and taken on the sales berth at Pine Harbour.
To Clive,
The lady is myself and I am Floridian, USA. The year was 2006.
Cheers
