Hi. I am looking for our old family boat. She is a 36″ Kauri displacement launch call Hoani. I would love to know if anyone knows of her where abouts. Thanks, John Managh
My father purchased a pretty little launch in the early ’60’s from a chap at Okura River. She was around 18 feet, designed and built by Roy Paris and named “Rambler” at this time. While in my father’s ownership she was moored off St Heliers, alongside a classic bridge- decker that I cannot recall the name of now.
Just curious to now if she is still afloat or what became of her.

Hello, I’m trying to track down a lovely old classic boat, possibly a bridgedecker, that my Grandfather built around 1930. It was called ‘Lady Mary’ but we understand that she was renamed. My grandfather was Les (Lesley) Deacon. Probably built in the Riverbed area. She had 3 portholes either side of the bow. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
